We don't really celebrate Halloween here in the UK. If you are over the age of 12 you could be forgiven for not even knowing it was happening. The big stores have some Halloween stuff but no one decorates their house unless they are having a party but
if I did I think I would go for this sort of thing.
This would be my preferred mode of dress. I don't want to be a witch, we used to burn them you know?
A game of chess with this stylish Pumpkin Chess Set by Yayoi Kusama. No spooky games for me thank you.
Finish the night with a relaxing hot bath and maybe dry myself off with this Spooky Bath Towel from ATYPYK in Paris. On second thoughts it's a little too spooky.

Mattoni Water Dress - You Must See This
You must go over to Yatzer and see this ad. A young lady walks into a restaurant in a dress made of water. It will blow you away I promise if it doesn't then come back here and have a go at me.
Waste Basket from ATYPYK
When I owned wheredidyoubuythat.com I used to some of ATYPYK's products, they are so inventive. I saw this Waste Basket on their site yesterday and I am seriously thinking of buying one for my bathroom and it's only 6.00 EURO or 8.40 USD. Hey what happened to the Great British Pound?

My Treasure Trove
I am 99% certain that I will never get to visit Trove so I just want to put this post up for posterity. If I am lucky enough to hit that 1% then I will be ecstatic.

A Zebra, The Pope and The White House In Knightsbridge
I didn't know where to start with this one. Roland Emmerich the director owns this amazing house in Knightsbridge, London of all places. This is not what one would expect of Knightsbridge but I LOVE IT.
Found at The New York Times. Go and read the article and see the slide show.
A Beautiful Opening
This is the opening to the Sketch Restaurant website and it is a joy but such a shame that beyond this it is virtually impossible to navigate. What happened to the web designer? They seemed to have lost the will to live whilst designing the site.
Watch The Birdie
Beautiful Birds of India cushions/pillows from John Robshaw. They do a lovely circus collection but I can't get the image to enlarge.

Our Cottage Extension - Sneak a Peek
It's looking a little more like a home rather than a building site now. Our cottage has grown beyond belief, it is more than twice the size it was, has proper central heating, a spiral staircase that is wide enough for 2 people to pass on it, a range oven that makes me want to bake again, a dishwasher to make my hands soft again, loads of cupboard space and even though it still isn't finished it is only 3 days away from being decorated and having our furniture brought here, out of the store that it has been hiding in for nearly 2 years.
The stained glass windows you see in the second picture were a gift from my lovely friend Tara, of Paris Parfait fame, and were from the stairwell of a Parisian apartment block. They now go to make up one of our bathroom walls.
Ewa I Walla - I Want To Be Swedish
If I wandered around the fields near my cottage dressed like this, at the moment, I would end up with hypothermia. I just love Ewa I Walla's designs and if this is what the Swedish can turn out I am going to apply to become a Swedish national.
Don't you think Abba and their weird sense of dress gave Swedish fashion designers a bad name?
